A cool Spring wedding day with wind, rain, sleet and even snow, but the sun shone eventually for newlyweds Mr and Mrs Jenkinson.
A beautiful church for their ceremony
Whenever we have been asked to film at Sandon Hall we’ve already been booked, so yesterday was a new filming venue for us! Hope we film there again because it is truly beautiful. Lovely photo and film opportunities both outside and inside - ideal in our ‘changing climate’.
The ceremony was at St Giles Church in Cheadle, probably one of the most beautiful churches in England. We were disappointed that Father Sandy Brown doesn’t allow good filming positions but we did our best ...
We were working again with Stephen Sutton, and as usual he worked efficiently - despite the difficult weather – with his easy rapport with guests. Makes it easier for us to get relaxed natural footage, so thanks Steve (and Caroline)! (This is a movie clip from another wedding where we worked together.)
The bride arrived in a classic yellow Rolls Royce laundalette from Williamson Brothers of Hanley, but Shaun’s wedding day surprise was an Enzio Ferrari drive to the church - wow! Jon says that if anyone would like to surprise him with a Ferrari just go ahead ...
Marcia and Nigel Titterton made sure guests had a great time, with music at the church and reception from Arabesque and a magician. Jenkinsons Caterers provided a superb Wedding Breakfast and staff at Sandon Hall certainly lived up to their excellent reputation. DJ Ade Wood’s disco was in full swing within minutes of the Wedding Breakfast ending, promising guests a lively evening - when those with a sweet tooth weren’t busy enjoying Charlie and the Chocolate Fountain!
Aimee looked stunning in her ivory gown embellished with diamanté, and her rose and diamanté bouquet matched the Rolls Royce yellow - even the cake design matched her theme! Shaun looked good too, and if Best Man Ben Stoney’s speech is to be believed then Shaun’s usual dress code is much more casual!
