Ruth and Martin O'Loughlin's wedding

So glad to be back online so I can tell you about this lovely wedding ...

Ruth and Martin's romantic red rose wedding
Apologies to our regular readers that we’ve been offline for a few days. I was close to pulling out my hair (or the web providers’ hair at least!) but all is now well.
We had fun filming Ruth’s bridal preparations at Carlton Close with Sheena and Edith doing a great job with hair and make-up. The theme was red roses and feathers and Ruth’s Maggie Sottero gown was a gorgeous ivory with net overlay and red roses detail with a beautiful diamanté tiara with flowing veil, while her bridesmaids wore tea length red dresses and rose detail in their hair. Fantastic. Can’t wait to see the red details highlighted in the black and white montage (define) Ruth and Martin have chosen for their film!
Ruth arrived in style in a beautiful ivory and gold Beauford from Two Jay’s of Sutton Coldfield - our thanks to John for letting me ride up front to film the journey.
Rev David Weaver’s ceremony at Christ Church, Burntwood was as relaxed and personal as ever. Martin was blown away when he saw Ruth walk up the aisle but I have to say that Martin and Best Man Keith also looked very cool in their kilts! Guests enjoyed Helen Clayton’s solo performance of Ave Maria before photos and a fun cavalcade to the Ramada Orbital Plaza – lots of car horn honking en route as they drove away!
When I saw the 12th floor wedding breakfast room layout it was easy to see why Ruth had fallen in love with their venue: a perfect foil for her colour scheme. I loved the red and white feather table centrepieces. The cake – WOW – a tower of chocolate and roses by creative Ben the Cake Man and the wedding breakfast was a chocoholic’s dream with a chocolate fondue dessert and chocolate favours. The speeches went well and lots of guests left messages for the DVD (define), so hopefully a job well done!
Congratulations Mr and Mrs O’Loughlin. We had a lovely time filming fun people. Have a great honeymoon and see you on the editing decks.
Please use the comments form below to leave Martin an Ruth your goodwill messages (or email us) and we’ll email you when their film highlights go online in the movie theatre.
