Wedding anniversaries for August 2008

August 2007 was a busy month for brides. We send our congratulations to 7 couples …

Guess the August 2007 wedding?

Happy anniversary from Jon and me to the following couples:

• David and Emma Sanders. On Friday 3rd August 2007 they were married at Holme Pierrepont Hall. Sunshine in a lovely setting and they really relaxed and enjoyed their day. We hope you’re happy in your new home. You can see their wedding here.

• Steven and Jenny Atherton were married at Holy Trinity Church, Sutton Coldfield on 4th August 2007 with a reception at The Belfry, Wishaw. The horse and carriage had a few problems with latter day technology but guests were happy waiting with a drink at hand. Hope you’re continuing with the high life! See their video here.

• Alan and Lucy Smith married at St John’s Church, High Legh on 10th August 2007 with a reception at Cranage Hall. Guests enjoyed a musical wedding day, with brass band and opera singers being just the start of the entertainment. When I met up with them recently they seemed very chilled with life and we wish you many more years relaxing in each other’s company. Happy first anniversary to you both.

• Don’t expect anyone’s ever heard of Amber and Harry Dancey?! Our film superstars’ wedding was at St Peter & St Paul’s Church Kingsbury on 11th August 2007, with their reception at Moxhull Hall Hotel. We wish them many more years of living’ in the pink’ of health and happiness - cheers friends! You can see what I mean in their video here.

• Sarah and Darren Ewer’s wedding was at Christ Church, Burntwood on 17th August 2007, with their reception held at Fairlawns Hotel, Aldridge. Another lovely day with plenty of time for reception drinks before the wedding party arrived in the limousine – the horse and carriage vanished and it wasn’t even midnight!  Hope you’re living happily ever after..

• Paul and Rachel Gray’s wedding at Tamworth Castle was followed by a reception at the Castle Hotel on 18th August 2007. Umbrellas were brandished with real style – competition for Gene Kelly! Wishing you blue skies and lasting happiness.

• Kerry and Sean Kennelly’s wedding was at Our Lady of Assumption Church, Great Barr, on 25th August 2007 before they left to work in Dubai – but not before a great reception at the Marriott Forest of Arden Hotel, Coventry. Plenty of Irish music, drink and laughter all round! Happy days in the sun to you both. You can see their wedding video here.
