New Vera Wang 2009 bridal gown collection
posted by: Karrie on 6 August 2008
I love an excuse to look at wedding dresses in my coffee break. If you do too here's a great video ...

This is Part 1 of Vera Wang’s latest Spring 2009 collection and there’s some great new wedding gowns.

Seems to be less lace-up corset backs, more gowns with attractive shoulder straps or plunging necklines and a real Hollywood 1950’s glamour revival. Lots of delicious bows as accent, less ‘meringue’ and more flaring from mid thigh, with the only colour being a warm coffee tone. But what do I know?!

As usual, love to hear which dresses rock your boat. Watch the video (just over 9 minutes though, so grab that coffee) then use the comments form below.
PS Part 2 to follow soon!

Hi Karrie
I couldn’t resist having a nose at the video - wow some of those dresses are gorgeous. Brides to be, don’t be disheartened if you are struggling to find that perfect dress, I really didn’t think I was going to find one, and there are so may choices out there - was I being too fussy !! No, stick it out and you will find ‘the one’ - I certainly did !

Beautiful dresses - loved the last one and a couple more which were really elegant. Can’t think of trashing those dresses can you? Some of those models bit thin and ugly though don’t you think!

Hi Sindy - good to see you drop in. How’s the hen and stag night business? Bet they’re all having a blast on your fab track in this weather.
Trash the Dress isn’t just about totally ruining your wedding dress. On the whole it’s about having all the time you need (without an audience of all your guests) to take some really cool (and sexy!) photos in locations that just aren’t available at wedding venues.
Looking forward to doing a Trash the Dress shoot at Team Action. We were really impressed by the fantastic scenery, cornfields, streams and wooded areas plus the farm sheds and not forgetting the quads and karts. It should be great!
PS Still a few places available for anyone interested in doing the Trash the Dress Shoot (photos or video) - call or email.
