Kate and James Dickens' Holiday Inn Wedding

What a last minute rush! Kate took advantage of our late booking discount and booked us just 2 days before her wedding, but everything was chilled on the day ...

We hadn’t even met James till the wedding day but nothing would faze his cheerful attitude ...
I began filming the bridal preparations upstairs in the bedroom overlooking the beautiful fountain in the lake. Great view and I have to admit I was amazed by the picturesque setting of the Solihull Holiday Inn! Staff are really great too and our thanks to Kelly and Gary for their superb organisation and help on the day.
Bridesmaids Anna and Leah looked lovely in the subtle silvery midnight blue, while Kate was beautiful in her chiffon gown with embellished flower embroidery details - lovely!
The lovely ceremony included a reading by Kim Gallacher accompanied by lovely music from Kate Wilkinson on cello and Sara Wilander on keyboard. Ushers John and Allan had organised everyone into their seats, while James’ son Page Boy Elliot Dickens was looking good in his suit.
Drinks and photos outside were followed by an excellent Wedding Breakfast in the Limesi Suite. The Speeches took place after the first course and guests were entertained by speeches from Katie’s father Reg, both Groom and Bride and of course the Best Man Adam Dickens, who showed some embarrassing photos of James using a projector. Judging by all the laughter there was more fun to follow in the evening reception!
Congratulations Mr and Mrs Dickens. Have a great honeymoon and see you soon in our movie theatre.

Congratulations to you both again! The day was planned to perfection and every moment of it was fantastic. You both looked so happy throughout the day and Kate you looked stunning. We wish you all the best in your future together but know that with more crazy “so much fun but it doesn’t cost a penny” moments that this won’t be a problem.

Oh what a day. Would love to do it all again! It was a happy and proud day for us to see you two so happy. Kate - you looked stunning, James -you looked so handsome - as usual! (to a mother’s eyes and to your new wife’s I’m sure!) Well done to you both for organising such a beautiful day - it was all so perfect. We all had such a good time it was one big happy family.

So glad the weather was good we prayed so hard, what a wonderful day everybody was so happy for you both. What a picture Kate looked stunning is the only word I can think radiant and happy are two more words that come to mind.James looked good enough to eat ha ha I haven’t seen him that clean since grandma bathed him at a very early age. The venue was excellant and the wedding service was really good. I didn’t want the day to end I have never seen everybody all day so happy what a wonderful atmosphere there was.So proud you are my nephew and new neice in law but you needn’t call me aunt cause i don’t feel old enough love you both to bits and many happy years ahead together x x x x

Congratulations to you both! It was such an enjoyable day. Kate looked stunning and Hannah thought she was an angel!
The whole day was planned to perfection, well done Kate! All the speeches were first class they took us through every emotion. Your both just perfect together anyone can see that.
