Laura and Stuart's Pendrell Hall Wedding

posted by: Karrie on 12 August 2008

The rain just stayed away whenever Laura and Stuart were outdoors- how lucky was that? ...

Laura and Stuart with Laura's grandad Ray Burns

We began filming the bridal preparations at Church Lane in a delightful chaotic atmosphere as everyone rushed around getting ready together - great fun! Kittens, flowers, curling tongs and make-up ...

Jon was filming guests arriving in the rain (shame!) and he was at hand to film Stuart’s arrival and Laura’s walk over to the church for the lovely ceremony at St Paul’s with Father David Baker, all their family, friends and their babies.

Laura’s dress, made for her by her Aunt Patricia was an absolute dream in pink while bridesmaids Tiffany, Bethany, Jessica looked great and flower girls Sienna and Kaitlyn were pretty fairies!

Ushers Andrew and David did a great job organised by Laura’s VIP grandad Chief Usher Raymond Burns, assisted by smart pageboys William, Joe, Charlie and Joshua, while Best Man Richard Goodsell’s speech later on was a great hit!

The wedding cars were fab - a VW Camper Van and an open top VW Beetle by Beetle Drive and their reception was held at Pendrell Hall, with its lovely gardens and excellent staff. The beautiful fairytale castle wedding cake made by Catherene Daker was a real symbol of a fairytale wedding.

Congratulations Mr and Daker. Have a great honeymoon in Turkey and see you soon on the editing decks.

Please leave them a message using the comments form below and we’ll email you when their wedding video is in our movie theatre.

Congratulations to you both!
I hope you had a fantastic day on saturday and
I hope you enjoyed the cars ‘Casper’ and ‘Lola’ (despite being a little lopsided as we drove towards the reception! )

You’ll be pleased to know ‘Casper’ is back on all fours again now!
If you do decide to buy a V Dub give me a call and I’ll tell you what you need to look out for.  (o)\v|v/(o) “beep beep”

I am looking forward to seeing the video footage on the movie theatre here, I hope there’s not too much footage of me featuring there! It’s a pitty I didn’t catch any footage of Dad streaking across the landing ;@)
Thanks for inviting ‘Casper’ along to your day and I hope that the bridesmaids enjoyed their drive in Lola to the reception.

Good luck for your future together.
Kind regards

Clare, Casper and Lola. xx

A most enjoyable day. You make a very lovely couple & your children were a credit to you both. The venue was faultless & being able to stay overnight & have breakfast with everyone was an added bonus. We wish you all the happiness in the world.
