Nicole and Gareth's Moor Hall wedding

If it's going to rain cats and dogs all day then it helps when you're working with lovely people ...

More photos online after Gareth and Nicole have seen them first!

Nicole and Gareth - the new Mr and Mrs Smith - certainly fit the lovely people criteria, and we were really lucky to be working with such a fun couple, who obviously had their priorities in life sorted. They were up for any of the fun photos Jon set up to try to make up for not being outside in the beautiful gardens at Moor Hall.

While Jon was taking the photos Steve and I were hoping to use our usual style and ‘disappear into the background’ filming their wedding video, but it’s just not that easy in a crowded bar! Major advantage in that we had 3 manned cameras for the ceremony, so I’m really looking forward to seeing Jon’s edit - we should really have all those natural and emotional moments covered in real TV movie style.

Jason and his staff at Moor Hall were superb and so chilled and helpful to work with, so our thanks to them too. We haven’t filmed there for a while, but it is as lovely a venue as we remembered!

Their colour scheme was pink and ivory and Nicole really blew Gareth’s mind away when he saw her walking down the aisle on her proud mother Catherine’s arm for their relaxed but emotional ceremony, accompanied by the excellent Enigma string quartet.

Bridesmaids Dawn and Samantha and Best Man Phil Hall with ushers Sean, Wal and Anil brushed up well too. They’re all ready for X Factor IMHO as they really know how to work the camera!

Our thanks to Phil for his help in sorting out photo groups - lovely guy - and have to say his speech was excellent, but then we thought Gareth and his dad Wal’s speeches were both easy on the ear and entertaining too. Beautiful wedding cake by Cake-Couture too, by the way.

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Smith. Have a great honeymoon. Your beautiful photos will be ready on your return and can’t wait to see the DVD (define) too - all that fun and laughter should make a cool film to watch!
