Somerford Hall celebrity style wedding!

Richard nearly lost his manly cool when he saw Hazel walk down the aisle in the Hollywood Dreams wedding gown superbly fitted by Caroline Jane of Tamworth. She looked amazing! Managed to keep it a total secret from all but the bridesmaids too. Red earrings and tiara with simple holly in her hair provided finishing touches and bridesmaids Marcia, Emma and Natalie were a perfect foil in ivory satin with wristband bouquets.

Following the moving ceremony guests enjoyed mulled wine and mince pies before a photo shoot outside - bright sunshine, but
very cold!

The staff at beautiful Somerford Hall are always both efficient and very welcoming and manager Ken’s time-keeping is second to none! Our thanks to the staff for their help and of course to photographer Steve Gerrard - easy to work with guys, so thanks!

Guests were further amazed by the wedding cake, which highlighted the couple’s sense of humour and love of snowboarding, before speeches from Derek the Bride’s father, the Groom and 2 Best Men Andrew and Paul. Richard’s mother also Jackie proposed a toast to absent family.

After the fabulous wedding breakfast there was time to relax and leave video messages for Hazel and Richard, before the Casino started. Page Boy Cameron had his own table playing Snap! Then another surprise ... a fireworks display culminating with the couple’s initials with a heart. Guests were heard to remark that they felt as if they were at a celebrity wedding!

After a hog roast supper it was time for the First Dance and disco to begin and when we left guests were really up for it with DJ Chris belting out all the right stuff for a memorable night!
