New Year's Eve celebration wedding

posted by: Karrie on 3 January 2009

Joanne and David 's romantic New Year's Eve wedding day may have been cold but there was nothing but warm smiles from the happy couple ...

Warm emotions on a cold day!

New Year’s Eve is more usually spent relaxing with a few drinks ... well, it is my birthday ... but this time we filmed Joanne and David’s wedding at St Mark’s Church, Great Wyrley. We’ve filmed there several times before and the vicar, verger and organist are always incredibly helpful, so that was a good start!

David and Best Man Richard were on time and in fine form and Ushers Christopher and Robert were also early and keen to give the job their best.

Guests didn’t linger long outside in the cold and luckily Jon does all the outside filming while I film inside the church (smart move hmmn?)

Bride’s mum Barbara Dolan and maid of honour Sarah, bridesmaids Jodie, Kim and Kelly, with cute flower girl Georgina and page boy Lewis arrived in style in Adam and Eve Daimlers, and the ceremony that followed, conducted by Rev Morris Price was very moving, with organist Alan Jones playing beautifully as ever.

Photographer Paul Westwood was at hand to capture all the fun of the day, and of course everyone looked stunning. The photo session ended as we filmed the happy couple driving away in their vintage Daimler for a reception at The Moat House, Acton Trussell.

Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Lewis. We wish them a Happy New Year and a happy future together. Please leave them a message using the comments form below and we’ll email you when their wedding video highlights goes into our movie theatre.
