Kerry and Richard's sunshine wedding

Friday brought showers but sunshine was all around at their wedding at St Mary's Church, Rolleston-on-Dove followed by Craythorne Golf Club ...

Back again to our favourite church St Mary’s, where Rev Ian White was as usual on fine form. Kerry and Richard’s guests were quickly put at ease to enjoy the ceremony in the church filled with beautiful flowers and the heady scent of lilies.

Richard with Best Man Jim Kirk, ushers Paul Springall and Matt Freeman - and not forgetting star page boy Thomas Annable - were immaculately turned out and were joined by bridesmaids Olivia Eaglefield, Mimina Bligh, Anna Freeman and Grace Kirk, with the 2 elder bridesmaids dressed in claret and the younger 2 in ivory. They were only outshone by the Bride: Kerry’s gown by Petticoats ‘n’ Pearls was perfect for her: ‘a princess’ as the vicar said!

Usually I have to remember when lining up the back camera that the vicar at St Mary’s is taller than the couple but Richard and Kerry made life easier for me as both are tall people. They looked so elegant and I really do envy their height - sorry Ian, just a figure of speech!

Photos followed with Helen Rose - we really enjoyed working with her and we got some super footage in the romantic photo session at The Spinney, before continuing on to The Craythorne Golf Club, driven in style by Charnwood Car Company, for the wedding reception.

More photos and drinks at The Craythorne, with fabulous views over the green before guests made their way to the receiving line, speeches and the wedding breakfast. Emma and her staff were superbly organised and helpful as ever - our thanks to them too - and the short but very genuine speeches were enjoyed by all. With speeches finished Best Man Jim looked far more relaxed as he sat down to enjoy his meal and liquid refreshment and Jon and Helen had ‘fun’ talking cameras too! With filmed the cake cutting and some fun scenes with the youngsters playing with the balloons intended for the First Dance and disco - it certainly looked all set for a good night ahead!

Our congratulations to Mr and Mrs Annable. We hope they have a great honeymoon and look forward to seeing you all on the editing decks!
