Kate and David's Moxhull Hall wedding

Kate and David's wedding day on Saturday broke through the clouds for a beautiful day ...

A busy weekend for Electra Films but we loved every wedding and we’ve all filmed at Moxhull Hall many times - always a pleasure!

Chris and Gemma filmed the wedding of Kate Stallard and David Clarke at St Paul’s Church, Dosthill so they filled me in on all the details. Vicar Rev Louise Shaw was the friendliest vicar they’ve ever met. The ceremony was lovely, with a reading by Selina Clarke and especially touching moment when daughter Eva joined the bride and groom at the altar for prayers. The theme was butterflies, mocha and chocolate brown, with the wedding party stylishly outfitted: groom David, best man Richard Clarke, usher James Stallard and page boy Owen Harrison looking cool, while bridesmaids Claire Knight, Joanne Bennett, Stacy Pallett, Megan Harrison, Bethany Clarke, Rebecca Clarke and flower girls Eva Clarke and Melody Knight delightful in chocolate, but David was blown away when Kate appeared in her Venus gown by Kiss xx of Lichfield!

The confetti throw was especially dramatic - should look fantastic on film, so can’t wait to see it. After photos on to top venue Moxhull Hall in a Bentley by Nuneaton Wedding Studios.

Tony Sendur was on hand to look after the wedding party, and with a beautiful cake by Jackie’s Cake Kitchen, wedding stationery by Selina Clarke and floristry by Selina (again!) and Entwined plus balloon décor by award winning Balloons n’ Tunes the marquee was amazing.

After the wedding breakfast time for the speeches. Kate’s father Chris Stallard’s speech was short: he let the music do his talking - a lovely ballad about father and daughter. Best man Richard’s had loads of funny sibling anecdotes to entertain, while Kate and David’s surprise gift to guests was Balloons & Tunes balloon creations - those guys can make anything from balloons!

Video guest messages next with loads of great messages filmed! The cutting of the wedding cake was quickly followed by the First Dance and a good night to come.
