Hayley and Patrick's wedding at St Joseph's Church, Rugeley

Beautiful day for a wedding - Hayley and Patrick Nash certainly struck lucky with the weather today ...

This was Rei’s first wedding for us doing the wedding photography with Jon at St Joseph’s Church, Rugeley. They arrived early and were ready and waiting for Groom Patrick to arrive with his Best Man Andy and ushers John and Robert.

A relaxing few photos for the guys and the guests started to arrive. Patrick was especially pleased that long-time friend Quentin had come over from Ireland, so Jon and Rei made sure to get a photo of the two together!

Hayley’s mother Barbara Merrell arrived with Hayley’s sister and Hayley and Patrick’s daughter Alana, who was looking very cute dressed in ivory. Hayley was driven to the ceremony in style with her father Paul Merrell in a sleek wedding car supplied by Electra Films favourites Platinum Cars. More photos before walking towards the ceremony - always some beautiful moments between father and daughter as they walk down the church path.

The colour scheme of the wedding was gold and ivory and it suited the whole bridal party very well. Patrick, Andy, John and Robert looked smart, while chief bridesmaid Chrissy and Alana looked lovely in their dressses by Rebecca Jayne’s at Mix n’ Match of Rugeley. Hayley was radiant in her gown from Kiss xx of Lichfield and Patrick certainly appreciated how beautiful she looked.

The ceremony with Father Peter officiating was beautiful and Jon and Rei both caught some lovely moments, with Jon at the front of the church and Rei at the back. With the register signed it was time for the group photos, confetti and more photos by the car before the new Mr and Mrs Nash drove off to their wedding reception at Armitage with Handsacre Village Hall, for a posed cake cutting of the beautiful cake by Sugar Surgeons.

Hayley and Patrick are honeymooning in Cuba and we hope they have a great time. We look forward to seeing you when you get back to choose photos for your wedding album.
