Lea Marston Hotel wedding of Alison and Phil
posted by: Karrie on 9 November 2009
For a November wedding it was a beautiful day - no rain and not TOO cold!

Beautiful November wedding day at Lea Marston Hotel
We arrived at one of our regular venues, Lea Marston Hotel (we’re recommended!) to find Alison surrounded by the largest entourage ever ... how many people were in her hotel suite?! After a few bridal preparations photos and film shots we went to find Phil Robinson and his Best Man Phil Preston. After a brief wait for BM Phil who forgot the rings in his room (again!) we caught some relaxed footage and photos outside in the hotel gardens.
When we returned to the Royal Suite the crowd had dispersed, leaving Alsion with beautiful bridesmaids Caren Habberley, Sarah Habberley, Vicky and Charlie Davies to attend her. I loved the colour scheme of ivory with midnight blue and Alison had worked the theme well with adult bridesmaids in blue gowns with ivory bouquets and younger bridesmaids in ivory gowns with blue sashes and ivory bouquets and young flower girl Natasha Davies carrying a basket of rose petals for the aisle procession, followed by a blue ring adorned with ivory flowers. Lovely ... and only outshone by the bride in an ivory gown with midnight blue and diamante detailing, which suited her perfectly.
The guys wore morning suits of navy with pinstripe trousers and ivory waitcoats with midnight blue ties and ivory buttonholes. They looked very dashing indeed! I’m sure Alison was very proud of her sons Phil the Best Man and David her proud escort ... some very emotional moments.
The ceremony in The Octagon Suite began with a rose petal strewn aisle procession (well done Natasha) followed by Phil’s double take at his beautiful bride. Readings were lovely and the room was filled with good wishes for the couple.
A speedy photo shoot outside in the gardens, where it seemed colder than it actually was because of the heat inside, followed by drinks in the Atrium and romantic photos with the Bride and Groom by the Golf Course bridge.
The Perry Barton Suite was beautifully presented to Alison’s theme with a cake by Cake Couture and flowers by Katy Meads. Following their silver service wedding breakfast managed by Heidi, speeches by David, Phil and Phil were enjoyed by guests. I filmed loads of lovely video messages while Jon took Alison and Phil for more photos around the hotel. I filmed the First Dance and a special Father and Daughter dance, disco by Celebration Disco and general good time before we left. A long day but hopefully some good footage and photos to follow! Our thanks to Heidi and her team for a smoothly run day as usual.
Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Robinson. Have a great time in Barbados and see you soon. Please leave them a goodwill message using the form below, and we’ll contact you as soon as their photos are online and when their video is released in our movie theatre, so you can see them too!
PS Apologies for late posting due to website problem ... glad to be back online and lots more to post soon, including several new moviesw!
