Carly and Nick's Christmas wedding

Lovely weather for a lovely bride at Moxhull Hall ...

Super couple ready to celebrate!

Carly and Nick had a fantastic day for their wedding. I began filming at their very stylish home. It was lovely to be with such a close family as they all helped each other get ready. Natalie Bartram of Wow Make-up did Carly’s hair and make-up beautifully and Carrieann made a superb job of lacing Carly’s beautiful gown by Mori Lee. Relaxed photographer Dave Wadley arrived for photos and soon it was time to leave for the ceremony.

Bridesmaids Carrieann Godwin, Tanya Beddard and Olivia Norbury looked lovely in a soft claret red, while Mille and little Lucy were adorable in contrasting ivory ... but Carly was heart-stoppingly beautiful and parents Carl and Kath Fletcher were pictures of pride.

The bridesmaids left first in an Austin Berkley, with the Bride and her father (after he’d run back for his speech!) travelling in style in a Rolls Royce Landaulette by Celebrations Wedding Cars - our thanks to them for allowing me to ride up front to film the journey.

Meanwhile Jon was filming at Moxhull Hall, where Nick the Groom was waiting with Best Man Alistair Gilbert and ushers Gary, Warren and Lee Preece and oh so cute page boys Bradley and Jacob. Guests were entertained by the ever wonderful violinist and mandolinist Pete Hartley before the lovely ceremony.

Photos, drinks and canapées in the newly landscaped gardens (even more beautiful and can’t wait to do a photo shoot there to use all the wondeful vistas) before a sumptuous wedding breakfast in the marquée. WOW! Carly’s colour scheme was superb. I loved the black chair covers trimmed with claret bows by Chic Covers on the new black carpet. The tall flower table centres with subtle lights complemented the Christmas trees adorning the marquée. Tony Sendhur and his team had done a superb job as usual, and we thank Tony for making our job so easy.

Emotional moments during the very natural speeches before we filmed video guest messages, cutting of the divine cake by Ben the Cake Man, First Dance and disco by the excellent Sonic Light and Sound, delicious chocolate fountain by Chocolate-e-Clougher and hog roast supper by John Smith.

Could Carly and Nick have provided more for their guests? - we doubt it! When we left everyone was well and truly up for a fantastic night dancing to Carly’s play list.
