Hatherton Country House Hotel & snow for Melanie and Craig

Have to confess the weather worried us the night before but Melanie and Craig and their guests kept warm as toast ...

Raising the temperature at Hatherton Country House Hotel!

Jon was snowed in in Hull, I was hobbling on sticks and the weather forecast was dire so we set off and arrived 2 hours earlier than planned! Melanie was looking cool with hair done and the wedding breakfast room at Hatherton Country House Hotel, Penkridge was already laid. Everybody was incredibly organised!

We were soon busy taking photos outside and even took some photos of the bridal preparations which weren’t actually part of the package ... well we were there, weren’t we? And we all lo-ove weddings at Electra!

Craig and his best man and brother Paul Baker arived looking very suave and we took a few photos outside before they were greeted by all the early arrival guests.

The ceremony was lovely with Matron of Honour Kerry Baker, bridesmaid Neve and lively page boy Billy making a procession and all looking great.

After the ceremony it was so cold that the decision was taken for just one overhead photo of all the guests and a few photos of the Bride and Groom outside, leaving the guests to thaw out inside with a glass of champagne!

Not masses of indoor photo opportunities but we worked quickly and efficiently - just a short wait for little Moreton, Craig and Melanie’s cute son, who had his priorities sorted and wanted his bottle - and we finished the photo shoot an hour and a half before the time that had been allocated to us - bet the guests were glad to get their meal early! We again photographed extra to the package and took photos of the bride and groom’s entrance into their wedding breakfast and a few table shots too and then it was out into the cold and back home again while Melanie, Craig and their guests were partying the night away!
