Somerford wedding with 'classic' style!
posted by: Karrie on 1 March 2010
Jon really had a great time with the photos for Chris and Chris - yes, really! - at Somerford Hall A bride and groom so easy to work with, classic cars and Scalextric. What more could a guy (or gal) want ...

Chris and Chris - loving fun!
While Chris and I were at the wedding fayre at The Assembly Rooms in Derby Jon was at one of our regular venues, Somerford Hall. It’s always good to work there as the staff are so well organised and helpful. Then add in beautiful stairs, great gardens (if it’s fine) and goood food too. Lovely!
Christine Bluck and Chris Lewis had planned a fun relaxed day and that’s exactly what they had. Dressed in ivory and with a smile that could win awards Chris was attended by her sister Caroline Bluck as bridesmaid. Both looked lovely and proud father Daivd Bluck smoked several very large Cuban cigars to celebrate. Best Man Pete Jones did a great job too, while the cake was a chocoholic’s dream.
I couldn’t resist driving over after the fayre and watched the First Dance - not to mention the fierce competition with the Scalextric but it was too dark to see all the Clasic Minis in their full glory.
If you’d like to see the photos follow this link to their Somerford Hall wedding photos. We hope you like them, although they are obviously very low quality for Internet viewing and any photos ordered will be edited and printed to a high quality.
Our congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Lewis. We wish them many happy years together. If you’d like to add your goodwill messages to the newly-weds please leave a message using the comments form below. Love to hear if you like the photos too?
Hope to see you all again at another wedding perhaps.

Some fantastic photo’s. Thanks electra.
Was an absolutely brilliant day.
After a slight worry with the snow first thing, the sun shone and so did the couple.
Was a hugely fun day which reflects Chris and Chris’s personalities.
Thanks to Jon for making us all feels extremely relaxed. Trying to work with a camera shy bridesmaid can’t have been easy. lol
I know they went with the right photographer.
I look forward to seeing the special album, and who knows, I may now have the odd photo of me dotted around the house.

What a wonderful day, beautiful photographs that really capture everything special about the day. The laughter we shared, the joy of Christine and Chris and ours for them. Fabulous. I think the light snow cover really added a freshness and a brightness to the sunlight for the day, couldn’t have been better.
Christine and Chris, once again my heartfelt congratulations and good wishes for your many many many many years together. I look forward to being around you both over the years to come. It was truly an honour to be a part of your wedding day and one I won’t forget.
Lots of love
Chris
