James and Victoria's Moxhull Hall wedding

posted by: Karrie on 30 March 2010

Beautiful day for fab family - we certainly had a great time so we know the guests had fun ...

Oh what a perfect day!

The sun was shining and Spring was in the air as we arrived at Falmouth Drive, Amington for bridal preps and once again it was Jon as photographer with me filming while Chris was on duty at Moxhull Hall ready for the Groom and arrivals. At first they were all so serious and quiet but they soon got into the groove when Dave opened the bubbly! Lovely bridesmaids Laura Hughes (think I taught her Drama in a previous life!), Stacey Dyer, Rebecca Cheshire and Rachel Cheshire were ready and pretty in pink, Bride’s mum Joy helped daughter Victoria into her stunning gown by Caroline Jane and proud dad Dave was not the only one fighting back the tears - Vicky looked like a 50s movie star!

After some great photos John left to catch up with James and Best Man Daniel Cobb at Moxhull while I stayed to film the last minute rush, departures and the journey to Moxhull in the fabulous Rolls Royce Landaulette. It was fun arriving in style and we think that footage of the journey adds another dimension to the film, so our thanks to the lovley guys from Celebration Cars.

The ceremony was very moving with lovely readings and beautiful vows - again hardly a dry eye in the house. James and Vicky then left their guests enjoying drinks and canapés to the music of superb musician Pete Hartley while they went for a ride in the open-topped Rolls Royce. Great way to start married life!

We work a lot at Moxhull Hall but every season Andreas adds more to the landscaping and the swathes of daffodils and were a gift for film and photos. The photo session went smoothly with Jon finishing all the groups and romantic photos in just 50 minutes - and he never seems to be rushing either. We finished with the marquée shots and Vicky and James were thrilled as the marquée was beautiful, with stunning flowers by Joy, who had also made all the bouquets and buttonholes using beautiful silk flowers - what talent!

After an excellent meal guests continued their enjoyment with speeches by the Cobb family - dad Dave, bride Vicky and Best Man Daniel Cobb - all very genuine and from the heart. evening guests arrived and we filmed video guest messages before the cutting of the beautiful wedding cake by Ann Brown and First Dance. The hog roast was a great hit but the real stars of the evening took to the dance floor as Dave and his partners wowed everyone dancing to Pretty Woman while Vicky’s grandmother was up there twisting the night away to belting hits from Sonic Light & Sound!

Our congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Dyer. Please leave them a message using the comments form below and have a look here at their Moxhull Hall wedding photos too. If you leave a message we’ll email you when their wedding video film trailer hits our movie theatre.
