Debbie and Ian's Solihull wedding

posted by: Karrie on 12 April 2010

Sunshine and laughter for a great couple ...

Relaxed and happy - a fun photo shoot!

It was another photos only wedding this Saturday at Solihull Register Office - haven’t they done a fab job of renovating it to an elegant venue! The ceremony was great and s-oo had me wishing I was filming it - the best ever First Kiss (wow!) and then the guests danced in the aisles to Abba. Incredible! Debbie looked radiant in her ivory gown with matching shawl with pretty bridesmaid Natasha and all the guys looked debonair and very cool in their suits with red buttonholes and accessories. Best Men George and Shaun were great to work with and we had a few laughs too.

A few photos and confetti in the garden then the bridal party departed in the stunning classic French limousines provided by the helpful Bridal Wedding Cars of Redditch on to the reception at Dorridge Village Hall. With the sun beating down the first priority was the Pimms waiting for the guests. Have to say at this point that this has to be one of the best village halls for an event - great large room, stage for band or disco, kitchen facilities for caterers and a proper dedicated bar with their own bar staff.

It didn’t take long for the requested group photos before moving on to the romantics in the adjoining park area with daffodils - I shouldn’t laugh but I suggested Jon do a shot on his knees through the daffodils and he didn’t see all the nettles ... oops!

By now the appetising aromas from the kitchen had the guests ready to eat and they enjoyed an excellent wedding breakfast prepared by caterers John and Heather Tomson and their staff of Heather’s Kitchen. (Lovely people and great food!)

Time for the speeches next - excellent and genuine speeches from Debbie’s brother Andrew, the groom and Best Man. We had the photos covered from above and below and there was plenty of laughter!

Our congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Campbell. Please leave your own messages of goodwill using the comments form below and then enjoy browsing their 424 (unedited)Solihull wedding photos, which they will have on a DVD slideshow. They have chosen a digital storybook album, which we will be designing very soon - happy to show you the design too when they have approved it, so just email us if you’d like to see their album. Oh yes, and you can order photos in colour, sepia or black and white. See you soon at another wedding we hope!
