Tammie and Justin's Marriott Forest of Arden wedding

posted by: Karrie on 2 May 2010

We were crossing our fingers for fine weather and - the sun shone again for another beautiful wedding!

Quick photo from Chris's (new toy!) iPhone!

Chris and Gemma were at the Marriott Forest of Arden Hotel for the wedding of Tammie and Justin. It’s a great venue to film at with sheltered beautiful courtyard, a great overhead vantage from the fire escape, wide corridors for movement shots, spacious suites and panoramic vistas across the golf club ... not forgetting that the staff really look after you and the food is good! Chris has sent me all the gen so here’s what he said:

They arrived early to film the bride and groom getting ready and everyone seemed calm and relaxed, although Justin was a little nervous. The ceremony was in The Aylesford Suite with pianist Chris Langdon entertaining guests and a beautiful reading by Jason’s son Mason Kindon who also starred as a fantastic ring bearer! Bridesmaids Collette Keeley, Hayley Whittingham, Elleson Copestick and Kerry Whittingham all looked pretty in ****, with Justin, Best Men Michael Bookham and Andy Hudson and ushers Liam foxall and Craig Hall all smart dressed. All were outshone by Tammie in her Maureen Myring Kesteron of Solihull designer gown and Chris said when she entered it totally blew Justin away!

Their photographer was the ever relaxed David Wadley so I knew Chris would enjoy working with him - our thanks Dave - so all the photos were completed before the rainfall and in time for an excellent wedding breakfast.

Speeches followed by Father of the Bride Ross Whittingham, the groom and not forgetting the Best Men who made everyone laugh! Chris filmed some fun video messages which I’m sure Tammie and Justin will enjoy watching, before it was time to cut the typically fantastic cake by Ben the Cake Man - Chris said the cake was inspired! This was followed by their First Dance to ‘Your Body’s Callin’ by R Kelly and the dance floor was soon full of guests swaying to the beat - a good night ahead for sure, with entertainment provided by great dancing routines by Tammie and Justin’s bridesmaidRME Entertainments, Tammie’s father’s company - and they were definitely not responsible for the powercuts during the DJ’s set! Chris said they got some great footage - he was so pleased that he called me on his way back home, so looking forward to seeing their edited film in a few weeks time.

Our congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Kindon, Have a great honeymoon. Please leave them a goodwill message using the comments form below and we’ll then email you when their wedding photos are released online and their Marriott Forest of Arden wedding video hits our movie theatre.
