Sarah and Sebastian's Birtsmorton Court wedding

posted by: Karrie on 28 May 2010

Hot, hot, hot - and not just the weather, with stunning bride and bridesmaids too!

What a fabulous day and I think I’m in love with Birtsmorton Court, Malvern, Worcester. Surely one of the most stunning venues with gardens to die for, superbly presented delicious food and super helpful and friendly staff. Enough said? Any brides reading this and looking for wedding video or wedding photos there (or anywhere else of course) ... yes please!

Sarah and Sebastian had planned their wedding in so much detail with a romantic Spring pastoral theme and an emphasis on guests’ enjoyment. How many activities did they plan for their guests? Table games, raffle, heart drawing, fun photo display, outdoor cricket, badminton ... the list goes on but definitely plenty to film!

The day began with photos with Sebastian and the guys and photographers Eddie Burbidge and Randay really put them through their paces - should be some good pics and Chris captured some super fun footage.

Meanwhile I was setting up at the adjoining beautiful country church of St Thomas of Canterbury with St Peter & Saint Paul. We really appreciated the friendliness and help from vicar Mike Roger and his verger. Ushers Graham Hunt, Justin Boyd and ALex Boyd did a sterling job. Bridesmaids Sarah Carolan, Emma Fort and Michelle Beazley all looked pretty in aubergine gowns (and seemed to have fun all day). The ceremony was lovely and we could all feel the warmth engendered by time spent preparing for this special day - the jelly baby sweets went down well too!

Fabulous confetti scene then on to the hotel for drinks and photos in the gardens. It was incredibly hot so Sarah and Sebastian took a short break before photos resumed, followed by a fabulous wedding breakfast in the beautifully decorated marquéee and very laid back speeches by bride’s father Ronald Hunt, Sebastian and the 2 best men Robert Guymer and Harpreet Rajput.

We’d been walking the grounds during the meal planning shots, so Chris then took the couple for a romantic shoot using all the lovely reflections in the moat and the last of the sun’s rays - can’t wait to see it! Meanwhile I filmed some fun messages from family and friends which I know Sarah and Sebastian will enjoy watching.

The First Dance followed with guests then getting into the groove dancing while others helped themselves to the bacon and sausage butty buffet and scrummy cupcakes made by talented Tara Francis.

Our thanks to Eddie and Karl and especially to Trish the wedding co-ordinator who made our job so much easier. Our congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Boyd. Please leave them a message using the comments form below and we’ll email you whentheir video goes online in our movie theatre.
