Tom and Charlene's Alrewas Hayes wedding

posted by: Karrie on 29 June 2010

Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic ...

Tom and Charlene driven in style to Alrewas Hayes

Perfect day, glorious weather, stunning (inside and out) bride, beautiful bridesmaids, cute flower girls, the nicest Groom, friendly and helpful Best Man, friendly ushers, super family and friends and one of the very best wedding venues we’ve ever worked - that was Saturday’s wedding!

Jon was photographer and I was main videographer for the wedding film so we had the day covered and hopefully we’ll have captured some great memories for Tom, Charlene and their guests.

It was my first time at Alrewas Hayes and we totally love the venue chosen by Tom and Charlene - ideal for wedding film and photography whatever the weather and hosts Toby and Bonnie have thought of everything for their guests’ enjoyment - perfect! Tom and Charlene had planned their wedding in detail with midnight blue and dusky rose bridesmaids’s gowns complemented by pink roses and blue geraniums in bouquets and table arrangements. (They even decided to bring in their own caterers.)

After filming the bride’s preparations with the bevy of pretty bridesmaids - Danielle, Luan, Sarah, Katie, Gabrielle and Lucianne plus flower gilrls Ella and Morgan - it was off to Alrewas Hayes, set in rolling acres of beautiful countryside.

Fun photos with the guys - Tom, Michael, Adam, Chris, Daniel and Ashleigh before the bridal cars arrived provided by Celebration Wedding Cars. Tom was bowled over by Charlene’s radiance in her original and stunning gown and a moving ceremony - unfortunately the Registrar was very strict about photos allowed during the ceremony - was followed with a lovely reading by Ashleigh Williams and beautiful singing by Danielle Baker, the bride’ sister. Just when Tom and Charlene thought they were off for 10 minutes ride in their beautiful vintage transport a surprise: wedding doves to release by Wings of White - you’ll see that Jon captured superb photos of the release too! Drinks, photos and receiving line led into the wedding breakfast in the impressive marquée.

Bride’s dad Wayne Baker, Best Man Michael Gibbs and Tom made heartfelt and sincere speeches whilst both the mums Tracey Griffiths and Joy Clempson were on hand all day looking after all the small details.

Please leave the new Mr and Mrs Clempson your congratulations and good wishes memories using the comments form below and we’ll email you when their Alrewas Hayes wedding video goes online in our movie theatre. We really enoyed working with such a good fun crowd who all knew how to enjoy themselves and hopefully you’ll see that in their Alrewas Hayes wedding photos from bridal preparations through to the First Dance, disco and hog roast.
