Moathouse Acton Trussell wedding for Ben and Gemma

posted by: Karrie on 26 July 2010

Another of our regular venues where there are so many film and photography opportunities ...

Ben and Gemma at The Moathouse, Acton Trussell

Chris filmed the wedding of Ben and Gemma at The Moathouse, Acton Trussell and they came back with some super footage.

The weather kept changing but thankfully rain held off for photos following the moving ceremony, where Gemma wowed her groom in her beautiful gown.

Guests were entertained by a brilliant and hilarious John Cleese look-alike act, which was an original touch that all (including Chris) enjoyed.

The whole day went to plan: a sumptious wedding breakfast and emotional speech from bride in addition to speeches from the traditional guys.

The couple’s flower girl daughter sang song during the speeches and Chris reported that it was amazing - as was the wedding cake made by a friend.

Our congratulations to Ben and Gemma from all at Electra Films. Please leave them a goodwill message using the comments form below and we’ll email you when their Moathouse Acton Trussell wedding video highlights goes online in our movie theatre.

As parents of the bride it was cetainly a fairytale wedding for our beautiful daughter Gemma, and her handsome prince . Bill’s dream was fullfiled when he was able to take his daughter down the aisle to her husband to be and now, our wonderful son in law Ben. Eleni well done on your wedding poem, you looked gorgeous. Bridesmaids, Ushers, Bestman all looked fabulous. The wedding cake looked and tasted delicious-well done (big) Eleni, The jewellery was beautiful made by Trudy. The flowers were striking. The wedding party outfits looked amazing the colours pink, orange and black worked so well together. The day was perfect in everyway from the venue, staff, food, entertainment and of course all family and friends who came together to celebrate their magical day. Gem you worked so hard on all the little details from making the wedding programs, bens suitcase of goodies and gifts, special flowers in boquet for the two mothers, escort cards, jigsaw name plates with all our name meanings on the back, the stars you made, the fans , the flip flops for the ladies in the evening for when their feet were aching from high heeled shoes, then the emotional speech, the colouring books, This was your special day and you still thought about everyone else. This is why we love you so much, dont ever change. I held back my tears of joy when I saw you take your first steps down the aisle and then you stopped to give me a special flower from your bouquet, I couldnt contain them any further, and then I had to do my reading not long after, still emotional. Thanks for that ; ).  Yours and Bens personalised Vows to one another was so moving, and dont think there was a dry eye apart from you two laughing. Ben we love you like another son, and always have. Thank you for making our daughter so happy and contented. You make us the proudest parents giving us many happy memories of which 24th July will be one memory that lasts a lifetime. Love you always Mom and Dad xxx
