Hadley Park Hotel wedding of Sarah and David Allen

It was a weekend for familiar venues with a wedding reception at Hadley Park Hotel, Telford ...

This was a video and photography wedding for us at Electra Films so the day began for us with Jordan taking photos at Sarah’s home bridal preparations, where all was amazingly calm. When Jon and I arrived for me to film Jon couldn’t resist taking photos too so there are loads of prep photos!

Sarah left a lovely video message for David before we left for the church, leaving Jordan taking photos till Sarah got into the beautiful Rolls Royce Silver Cloud Convertible by Barrie James Rolls Royce & Bentley Hire.

Meanwhile at St Mary’s Church, Kingswinford Jon and I were capturing the arrivals and fun in wedding video and photos. David and Best Man Nicholas Smith seemed quite calm but excited and with ushers Stephen Taylor and Graham Yapp they all looked super cool.

David’s sister arrived with cute flower girl Aliya and soon pretty bridesmaid Laura Smith and Bride’s mum Anita arrived. What struck me was how happy everyone was to be at this wedding and how close the 2 families both are.

When Sarah arrived in her gorgeous gown she almost floated down the aisle before a beautiful ceremony with readings by Susanna Taylor and Rebecca Jones.

A few photos after the ceremony and loads of confetti before Sarah and David left for Hadley Park Hotel. We love working at this venue, not only because it is beautiful or because the meals are so beautifully presented but because of the personal touch and excellent service provided by owners Mark and Geraldine Lewis.

Jon worked as fast as possible through quite a long list of photos before guests enjoyed a typically excellent wedding breakfast in the conservatory with relaxing music by guitarist Roy Sainsbury. Hearfelt speeches by Father of the Bride Stephen Smith, the Groom and Best Man Nicholas Smith.

I filmed some great video messages from friends and family that I know Sarah and David will enjoy watching ... what happened to the bench guys?? (See photos 600-606 for the evidence!) and of course can’t wait to see the dancing girls singing on film (photos 506-599 and 314-326)

We filmed the First Dance and some disco and the evening reception was in full swing when we left with everyone up for a good night
