Breadsall Priory wedding for Angela and Matthew

posted by: Karrie on 22 August 2010

An amazing, colourful happy wedding ...

Rose red colour theme for Angela and Matthew

That is how Chris described it after he finished filming yesterday - and for a guy to say that it must have been lovely!

Chris and Emma began filming at the bride’s preparations in Darley Dale and from the start they captued some great footage, so I’m really looking forward to seeing the film. The bride’s dress was as beautiful as I’d have expected from Angela and bridesmaids Claire, Aexandra, Susan, Samantha and Wendy were also chic and added to the colour of the day in their rose red gowns, with flower girl Evie adding cute factor!

On to the church and Matthew Kirkham the groom arrived on foot and was attended by Best Man Richard Sharpe and usher Ivan Walters. So even with page boys Jack and Joe they were a bit outnumbered but held their own!

The bridal party arrived in a Daimler DS420 provided by American Pie Limousines before a lovely ceremony at the beautiful St Helen’s Church, Darley Dale conducted by Rev Robert Quarton with a reading by Ivan Walters, ably accompanied by Neil Clarke as organist.

It may have rained but the Matthew and Angela didn’t let it spoil the wedding at all and next it was on to scenic Breadsall Priory for their wedding reception. We like working at Breadalll Priory as the staff are always so helpful so thanks again to them.

Next drinks and photos, where Chris reports that all the children were having a great time and he caught some lovely footage of them all.

Soon it was time for the wedding breakfast and Chris reported that the room looked great with detailed finishing touches chosen by Angela - chair covers by Love in a Mist, flowers by Chirstine Wheeldon, personalised chocolate bars by the talented Chocart and an absolutely scrumptious looking white chocolate wedding cake by Layers Cakes.

It was a short day for Electra Films and after enjoyable speeches by Father of the Bride Ralph Scargill, the Groom and Best Man the crew left - confident that the guests were going to enjoy a great evening with music by Jigabit Ceilidh band and Europa disco.

Congratulations from us all at Electra Films. Please leave the new Mr and Mrs Kirkham a message using the comments form below and we’ll then email you when their Breadsall Priory wedding video highlights hits our online movie theatre.

Hope to see you all again soon at another wedding!
