Just love these new idea favours
From Wedding Gloss blog with photos by Ella Wynne
Jon is not a fan of Facebook but I love that we can keep in touch with our brides and grooms, meet the new additions to their families - pets and babies - and sometimes stumble across great wedding ideas to pass on.
Been a bit busy lately but new resolution to pass on wedding ideas to you. This wedding blog is based in Vermont but for UK readers it’s cool to be ahead of the trends that usually follow on here 12-18 months later. So I recommend Wedding Gloss Blog and this link hits a post on super new wedding favors (or wedding favours if you’re UK based!) with photos by Ella Wynn.
Love the idea of favours that can be used as totaly personalised place settings at the wedding breakfast then kept by guests for photo frames or coasters. The bottle stoppers and candle holders are pretty too and many more - all based on an Autumn leaves theme ... enjoy!

Congrats on your upcoming wedding. You must be getting excited.Use something that reflects your wedding and who you are. We are having an iris bulb (the flowers we are using in the wedding and my future husband’s favourite) in a pretty box with a note that thanks our guests for coming. We are getting them wholesale and they will cost less than a dollar a piece including a gift box with wrapping paper and ribbon. Some other things that we looked at were:- bottles of wine (too expensive), chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate covered coffeespoons (a really easy DIY. Dip a colored plastic spoon in melted chocolate and dunk it a few times to get a thick coat. Then let cool on wax paper. Drizzle with another color of chocolate. You can use coloured chocolate wafers. Then wrap in cellophane and tie with a pretty ribbon), candles and picture frames that fit the picture that will be on your thank you card. Good Luck!
