Packington Moor wedding for Lucy and Andrew

Lovely couple, lovely venue, lovely people and yes lovely wedding!

The new Mr and Mrs Tarver at Packington Moor

It was another film and photography wedding on Friday for Lucy Farrell and Andrew Tarver’s wedding at Packington Moor near Lichfield, owned and run by my friends of many years John and Rosemarie Barnes.

We began the day with bridal preparations in the lovely cottage provided by Packington Moor, where all the ladies were really chilled as they prepared for the wedding.

On to meet up with Andy and his guys over at The Oat Barn. It was a little chilly but no rain in sight, so all was good. Andy, his Best Man Craig and ushers Russell and Adam were great guys to work with and all looked cool, while bridesmaids Louise, Louise, Melissa and Anne-Marie looked chic in a soft taupe shade. Loved the bouquets and buttonholes provided by Diana Gudgeon ... and then there was Lucy. How beautiful did she look in her beautiful vintage style ivory and lace gown with matching buttoned bolero. Stunning!

The ceremony went well with readings by Louise and Melissa - so much emotion and so many tissues wiping tears from the eyes.

Lucy and Andy practically ran down the aisle to their receiving line as guests left the ceremony - love that as it is so great to speak to everyone at once - before photos outside.

Despite the cold Lucy and Andy were on great form, and it was fun to work with so many super people. Thank you everybody!

After a typically delicious wedding breakfast with 4 super speeches - LOVED the fairytale book speech with slideshow by Lucy’s mother Cheryl - I filmed video messages before the First Dance and disco really got under way. Certainly looked like a great night ahead!
