All Saints Lullington church and Riverside at Branston wedding of Rachel and Lee

Bright sunshine at our own local church wedding ...

First kiss as husband and wife
Strange to think we’ve filmed and / photographed nearly 300 weddings but never before at All Saints Church, Lullington, our local church, so we were thrilled to be asked to photograph near neighbours’ daughter Rachel Mortimer marry Lee just a few hundred yards from our studio door!
The sun shone as guests arrived right through the day, although it did get a bit breezy at the reception at The Riverside Hotel in Branston as Rachel and Lee walked down the red carpet to their reception.
Proud father Tony walked Rachel down the aisle, although he did seem to hanker mid-service for his usual job of church organist and our friendly vicar Revd Michael Yates jokingly reminded Tony that the wedding wasn’t over when Tony got involved in friendly banter with his replacement organist just before the recessional procession!
Rachel looked stunning in a vintage ivory colour gown and her bridesmaids Caroline and Emma were beautiful in red gowns with pretty flower girl Caitlin dressed in ivory.
This was a lovely intimate country wedding with Lee’s brothers Gary as best man and John as usher and when we left guests were all enjoying an excellent wedding breakfast while eagerly anticipating the speeches and the fun evening party ahead.
We thoroughly enjoyed photographing at our lovely church and using the scenic riverside setting at The Riverside Hotel, where staff were all friendly and helpful and page boy Thomas was so helpful looking after Luke, the couple’s very cute and oh so good son, that we are wondering if we can employ them both on a regular basis for photo calls!
Congratulations from us all at Electra Films to the new Mr and Mrs Haddon.
