A Bride, a Groom and FIVE Best Men ...

Sounds like a film title, and that’s what Chris and Emma were there for, as the sun shone for Sarah and Chris at their wedding on Saturday at Sacred Heart & Saint Teresa Church in Coleshill with Father Kavanaugh officiating at the lovely ceremony; Ruth, Jude and Laura reading beautifully and string quartet Enigma providing their usual beautiful musical accompaniment.

The bridal party arrived in great style thanks to BeetleDriveUK. Lovely bridesmaids Felicity, Emma, Annie and Lizzie arrived in Sarah’s own red Beetle while the Bride - and later the Groom - travelled in style in Stretch Mark the Beetle limo, driven by the lovely Nicky. Love their cars and such great people to work with and to know.

Photographers for the day were Chris and Dani of Chris Barber Media The sun shone brightly all hrough the photo shoot at stunning Swinfen Hall. Could there be a more beautiful spot in England? Peter Barnes was toastmaster and again he always provides superb service.

After a delicious wedding breakfast it was time for the speeches and Sarah’s father John had the guests rolling in the aisles to his own version of the 1970s TV hit Mr & Mrs where he put Chris on the spot to see what he really knew about Sarah! Then after Chris’s heartfelt words it was time for the 5 - yes FIVE Best Men to make a speech: Mark, John, Andrew David plus one I don’t have the name for (email would be appreciated?!) Speeches were long at well over an hour, but definitely entertaining.
