A first time for Electra at Westmead Hotel ...

Everyone enjoying themselves at Westmead Hotel Hopwood

Chris filmed this wedding - yes it was an Electra 3 wedding day! - and from the start the bride was so happy that she was singing in her suite while she got ready for her wedding with bridesmaid Dee. (We were booked to film from arrivals but Chris is such a soft touch that he nipped over to film bridal preparations!)

It wa a lovely intimate wedding at relaxing venue Westmead Hotel in Hopwood near Birmingham and Chris reported back on how nice and friendly everyone was.

Both the bride and groom were on time for the ceremony and while the groom seemed a bit nervous the bride seemed to be quite relaxed ... was it nerves over the speeches to come maybe? One amusing thing that happened was that the rings were tied on to the ring cushion so tightly that the registrar had to cut them off with scissors ... not sure if this was a safety measure for cute ring bearer Jake?!

Their colour theme of royal blue and white worked really well and lots of photos were taken by photographer Paul Townsend of Lovephoto, who Chris really enjoyed working with. Luckily rain held off till the wedding breakfast before it absolutely poured down!

Kim and Luke’s First Dance song was going to be Westlife’s ‘I wanna grow old with you’ and we hope that their wish comes true.
