Don the Dirt Mover hits payload!

This was one of our wedding photography packages (Steff fell in love with our storybook albums when she saw them at Branston Pavilion wedding fayre!) another of our favourite venues Branston Golf Club. We recommend The Pavilion for its excellent staff service, superb food and for photos there are great locations both outside and under cover if the weather is not good.

Today the weather was gorgeous though: light breeze, nice sun, but not too hot. Golf course was packed! Groom was later than planned, as was the bride but that was fine. Rei got great photos of Don with his Best Man Dave and Steff with pretty bridesmaids Kirsty and Maddie. Apparently the Mother of the Bride was nowhere to be seen so Rei had to do photos with her after the wedding, but that was fine. (We aim to be flexible.)

The registrar caught us as we were heading in and refused all photos during the ceremony, which is unusual as the customary ruling is no flash and minimal photos but we managed to sneak a few of Steff coming up the aisle and of the kiss so it wasn’t a total loss!

After the ceremony, there was a press photographer from the Burton Mail doing a follow on story from when Don proposed to Steff on the football pitch, so he also took some photos of them outside the venue. 

The Bride didn’t want too many posed photos thankfully so we soon got to the romantics and apparently Don was so impressed by his stunning bride that he could barely keep his hands off her - so romantic!

From there, we gave them five mins to have a drink whilst she took reportage shots and then went to the 18th hole, where she got some lovely shots before going straight into the wedding breakfast room for the cake and detail shots.

We pride ourselves on finishing in time for you to enjoy your wedding reception and there was plenty of time before the receiving line so the venue was pleased and even with the ban on ceremony photos we took around 500 images, so plenty for you all to see and for Steff and Don to choose from for their album.
