Somerford Hall wedding of Rebecca and Thomas Lycett

Rain held off so all could enjoy this superb venue's facilities ...

Chris, our amazing all round senior camera operator and editor was filming the wedding of Rebecca Gabb and Thomas Lycett and luckily the threatened rain held off all day.

The groom was a trifle nervous before the ceremony until his beautiful bride Rebecca arrived in style in the fantastic silver Imperial Laudette provided by A Perfect Day Wedding Cars of Newcastle Under Lyme.

Chris was attended by his Best Man Steve Adams and 6 groomsmen - cousins John, Edward and Richard Barratt, Andrew Lycett, Shaun Bell and Stuart Hassell. A dashing looking crew indeed!

Rebecca’s lovely attendants, with a colour theme of midnight blue and ivory, were maid of honour Eve Shaw and bridesmaids Aimee Kilford, Sharah Yapp, Michelle Key and Nicola Poyner

A lovely ceremony took place before the amazing and original Mextecha Mariachi Band gave the newly weds a grand entrance to their waiting guests at the drinks reception - wow!

The photographer was Andrew Billington and Chris very much enjoyed working with him.

After a relaxed photo shoot while guests enjoyed the Maraiachi band it was time for the typically sumptuous wedding breakfast provided by Somerford Hall.

Later Chris and Jason filmed video messages and reported that loads of guests enjoyed leaving some great messages, so that should be a fun section of the film! More entertainment as a superb singer entertained guests while a casino was set up - plenty to do for all!

Rebecca and Thomas’ first dance was an unsurprisingly original choice of ‘Fly Me To The Moon’, with a hog roast evening buffet and guests were set for a great evening ahead when the crew finished filming!
