St Peter's Church Little Aston and Packington Moor wedding

posted by: Karrie on 8 October 2011

I just didn't want to miss Jane and Derek's wedding and I was right ... it was perfect!

How beautiful did Jane look? And both so in love ...

Derek and Jane’s love story is very romantic and Jane’s son Rob and daughter Jo had guests howling with laughter as they told the romance in Jilly Cooper style with Derek as the tennis coach and Jane as the dazzled housewife - probably one of the best wedding speeches I have ever heard in over 300 weddings as wedding videographer and wedding photographers. Magic!

The speeches by Rob and Jo, Best Man Graham Hollway and Derek, laced with tennis and other sports references, were a warmly received ending to the delicious meal at lovely Packington Moor - always a favourite with us - and not forgetting the typically welcoming and friendly ceremony at St Peter’s Church, Little Aston with Rev Phil Moon and the choir in full tuneful voice. (How many people did we hear say that if they had a vicar like that then they would go to church more often ...)

Derek and the male attendants looked extremely dapper in grey suits with ivory and old gold waistcoats and cravats while Jo looked chic in a midnight blue. Graham Hollway was an excellent attentive Best Man and got the groom to church in style in an Audi convertible, while ushers Chris Docker and Peter Haywood were lovely and so helpful.

As a surprise gift Jo had arranged a lovely white Beauford Tourer to take her mother to church and Jane emerged from it on the arm of her escort and son Rob looking totally amazing in a slim fitted gown topped with a stunning lace jacket and her beautifully coiffured hair adorned with a flower. Wow!

In front of the congregation of which Derek and Jane are obviously very much a part they made their vows to each other and I believe there was one photographer at the front with a tear in her eye at the genuine love between the couple in front of her camera!

We met so many super people and loved being part of Jane and Derek’s wedding day. Congratulations from us all at Electra Films to the new Mr and Mrs Bradshaw. Super wedding and reception! Jane and Derek both looked so happy - we wish them all the best for the future. Hope they are now enjoying their honeymoon in Canada!

Congratulations to Mum/ Jane and Derek!

Thanks everyone for coming and making their day such a memorable one.  I am sure you will agree Mum/ Jane looked amazing and very happy.  You all helped to create a relaxed and warm atmosphere - we know the happy couple both had a wonderful day.  Thanks to Electra for the great (and discreet) photography, the photos look fab.

I am now exploring an alternative career path in writing erotic fiction.  Watch this space (don’t worry Karrie - I won’t actually be posting the erotic fiction on this space).

So pleased to have been part of the special day and to catch up with so many people.
