There are increasing concerns that social history is being lost since digital cameras, with less and less photos actually being printed.
Electra Films are helping fight this trend by preserving old cine and VHS films on DVD (define). With the addition of family photos (such as wedding albums), titles and rolling credits your family history can be enjoyed by all for generations to come.
“The service is proving very popular” explained Karrie Hidderley “especially for Christmas presents and to show at anniversary and special birthday parties! We also repair and improve old photos and slides and convert them to CD for printing and to DVD slideshows with music.”
“For a special and original Christmas, anniversary or birthday gift - even for the man or woman who has got everything! -we’re offering our deluxe family / wedding cine film upgrade where we can film new footage of the church or wedding venue as many films did not include indoor shots, and we can also add voice-overs and commentary from the couple or family and friends - bringing the photos and film even more alive” said Jon Byne.
Electra offer colour correction and digital re-mastering, with different style options and clients’ own music choices. All in all a totally bespoke service with personal attention to detail. See recent wedding cine film converted for DVD.
Bookings taken now until November are guaranteed completion before Christmas ... but book early to avoid disappointment!
