Electra FilmsWe’re just a bit unique. We’re NOT photographers who ‘do a bit of video’. We’re NOT videographers who ‘do a bit of photography’. We are a team of expert specialists in BOTH. Known for our commitment to our clients, the quality and originality of our photography and films and our innovative approach to wedding film making and wedding photography ... we just love using film and photography as a medium to seize a moment in time and keep it forever .

Jon graduated from Sheffield University with a First Class BSc Hons degree in metallurgy and has since been awarded a Masters Degree.  Originally working in the engineering and aerospace world, this developed his strong commitment to technological advancement and technical perfection in both picture and sound quality! (Known affectionately by us all as ‘Techno-Geek’!) He also gained his Master of Videography Certificate from the Institute of Videography in 1990 and has been a published photographer for several years!

Karrie graduated from Loughborough University with a BA in English and Drama and worked as a drama teacher and lecturer, but now wedding videography provides more opportunity for her creativity.  She was a Founder Member of the international videography 4Ever Group, is a Video Business Advisor and loves capturing each couple’s special day on film. She has a total commitment to ensuring that wedding films become a necessity for every Bride and Groom, and has created a network of Midlands videographers to help couples looking for a quality wedding video. (LOVES weddings!)

Chris is a superb film maker with many awards to his credit and an Honours Degree in Film & Media. Creative, dedicated to perfection and a genuinely nice guy to work with, his aim is for every wedding video to be ‘AMAZING!’

Sue is a truly talented photographer with a calming but confident manner that makes everyone relax while still doing everything she needs to create great photos. Especially good at creating stunning images of both couples and young children we all love the way Sue finds beauty in all surroundings while working quickly and efficiently. A definite must for any wedding but also tremendous at commercial and educational photography shoots.

Jordan is another talented photographer with a friendly manner that again makes for a relaxing wedding day experience where even the grandparents enjoy being photographed by Jordan We’re really pleased to have Jordan in our team.

Nic is the latest photographer to join the team. Always smartly dressed, polite and friendly, we think Nic could persuade any reluctant guest to do what he wants while leaving them thinking it was their own idea! Keen on getting a stunning shot with technical perfection - a great addition to the team.

Jenny is our lovely new lady editor. While being bang up to date in editing techniques she has a great idea for beauty and romance without being cheesy so we forgive her totally for being a Mac fan!

Mike can always be trusted to get good overhead shots - his 6ft+ height helps - and he is ever calm and quick-thinking. An all-round expert in filming, editing and audio, we know you’re in safe hands with Mike and Janet, his highly competent 2nd camera operator.
